The Baobab Alley is one of the most beautiful sites on the Big Island. True national heritage, this place, not far from Morondava, is a must during a trip to central-western Madagascar.

Tsingy of Bemaraha

Tsingy of Bemaraha National Park, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1990, is made up of the small Tsingy and the large Tsingy, and presents semi-arid landscapes adorned with baobabs. This atmosphere will be accentuated by the discovery of the different species of baobabs endemic to Madagascar.

animal shelter

The Kimony Lodge & Resort collaborates with the Ministry of Water and Forests. We opened this animal shelter to help them have a better life. Several species live there in adapted shelters. These animals do not come from the forest. They were brought back by third parties or associations. We care for them and infants them so that they can one day return to their natural environment.

The KIMONY LODGE & RESORT group occasionally organizes reforestation in the villages for the preservation and awareness of the population. This action is coordinated by the group's staff and the fokontany. .

We are concerned about our environment and to avoid food waste, we have decided to create a vegetable garden. We pick only what we need to prepare the delicacies that will be served on your plates.
